Delivery and Returns
a) The goods will be delivered to you, the buyer, at the address provided by you on the order form. The risk in the goods shall pass to you upon such delivery taking place
b) All quoted delivered prices include delivery to UK mainland excluding offshore islands and highlands ( Postcodes - PA ,PH , AB , IV , KW ) . Delivery to these locations may incur additional costs requiring payment by the seller contacting the sales office.
c) Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the goods however caused.
d) We shall not be liable to you, the buyer, for short delivery of the goods however caused but will provide you with the outstanding goods as soon as is reasonably practical.
e) Receipt and Return of Goods
1) The buyer, will inspect the goods upon delivery and will notify the seller immediately of any damages or shortages. Any defects in the goods must be notified to the seller within 10 working days from the date the goods were delivered. Save in respect of any shortages or defects if you, the buyer, fail to comply with this clause we will not be held legally liable in respect of any other complaint which should have been brought to our attention within this period.
2) Otherwise than in 13 a) above, Goods cannot be returned without prior consent of the seller in writing. Handling charges may be levied for returned goods and repackaging charges if packaging has been removed or damaged. Returned goods must be in a resaleable condition or receipt may be refused or repair charges incurred at the Sellers discretion.
3) All carriage and administration costs will be recovered from the buyer where no fault is attributed to the 'seller'. Prior to any reimbursement the actual costs will be informed to the buyer who will need to agree the charges in writing.
4) Reimbursement will buy the same method of payment as the original payment unless otherwise agreed by the both parties.
5) The Sellers invoice always follows despatch of the goods. If after three days following receipt of the invoice the Customer has not received the goods, the Seller should be informed by telephone or in writing. Failure to do so could render invalid any claim the Seller might have on the transporter or carrier whose own trading conditions may be governed by a time period. In the event of any goods being delivered damaged or short delivered, the carriers note should be endorsed accordingly and a copy should be sent to the Seller within 3 days of delivery of the goods. The Seller will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage if this condition is not adhered to.
f) In the event of a delivery not being completed due to factors outside the seller’s control such as non-availability of personnel for receipt then the goods will be returned to the trading address. All additional costs related to completing the delivery at a later point will be charged to the buyer before future dispatch.
